Firearms Range
The clubs firearms range is located on Laurie Currie Way is permitted for members and associated guests only. Guests must be accompanied by a member in good standing while at the range. If visitors wish to shoot firearms at the range they must pay $5 each to cover range costs. Common sense and ethics while using the range will allow the club its continual use.
The firearms range can be closed due to private events or weather conditons. Updates can be found here and our Facebook page.
General Rules:
- no alcohol or drugs permitted
- both gates must be closed
- all garbage and brass to be removed
- no shotgun use on wooden target stands
- all firearm safety procedures must be followed
- always wear eye and ear protection
- keep the firearm unloaded when not in use
- firearms must be shot from the firing line only
- always keep the firearm pointed down range or in gun rack
- use only paper targets. NO cans, bottles or other objects including binary explosive targets
- all children must be closely supervised
- no shooting of wildlife is permitted at any time
